From the Windy City to Music City…
Recently relocated to Nashville, Alison has been Chicago’s go-to wardrobe stylist and personal shopper, editing closets and curating styles since 2007. A self-described fashion optimist, she believes in the art of self-expression and how what you wear creates your identity. Her background in garment construction, self-taught circa 1992, allows for a cultured view in what to wear and how to wear it. Fashion without style can be reckless. Style without fashion can be irrelevant. Personal style is about making fashion unique to you.
Alison defines her personal style as a bohemian minimalist, but doesn’t shy away from the occasional menswear inspired get-up. She believes in the power of a killer outfit. Alison’s work has been featured in such publications as People StyleWatch, Real Simple, Michigan Avenue Magazine, and the Chicago Tribune among others. She was named one of Chicago’s best personal stylists by CBS Chicago. Alison is looking forward to expanding her brand and business in the Music City, while maintaining close relationships with her Chicago clientele. She resides in downtown Nashville with her husband, Jake, and pup, Jasper.
I believe in having a few loves over a thousand likes. I believe in taking the stress out of getting dressed. Ditch fashion schizophrenia and bring good vibes back into your closet. You have better things to worry about.
